DESCRIPTION:  \nWith a CFA Property Advice Visit on November 22 2025. \nThe CFA are planning a ‘Get Ready for Summer’ day at Mt Hotham on the 22nd November 2025\, where they come up to Mt Hotham and will be available to do Alpine Summer Property Advice Visit Service (PAVS). These PAVS are all about the risk of your property during a bushfire\, with suggestions on how you can reduce that risk.  This is a free service and will take approximately one hour as it is completed on-site at the property. \nSo if your lodge is planning a summer cleanup or work party\, the CFA can happily fit you in\, provided they have advance notice. In addition\, the Commander – Alpine Mark Owens is always happy to come and speak about Fire Preparedness and/or the importance of Essential Safety Measures and compliance. \nScan the QR in the flyer below to book an appointment.

DESCRIPTION:  \n \nHSA Inter-Club Luggage Sled Race 2025- POSTPONED \nMt Hotham Inter-club Luggage Sled Race is back and will be run on Saturday\, 6th September\, with a 3 pm kick-off from Zoo Cart Park. \n$25 entry per Lodge\, prizes to be won. Entry will be via our website\, and proceeds will go to DWA. \nResults will be posted on the HSA website post-event. We strongly suggest all lodges participate in this fun\, family-friendly annual event. \nRules: \nEach lodge sled has 2 children under 12 years in the sled and is pushed by 2 adults. \nThe traditional start is outside Hangman’s Drop with the finish line opposite Eiger Lodge. \nFancy dress \nAward for Winner\, Best fancy dress\, best effort. \nThis year will involve heats due to the number of lodges entering. \nPresentation immediately after at the fire pit near The Lodge. \nThe Trophy is perpetual and is a silver champagne bucket engraved with the winner each year. \nResults will be available on the HSA website post-event. \n  \nClick here to enter your club.
