Hotham Ski Association represents the stakeholders of Mount Hotham Alpine Resort

2021 Ex Staff Accommodation Deal. 22nd August 2021

Dear HSA Members, The HSA were made aware late last week that some instructors would be given their last shifts with 48 hours notice to…

Covid-19 News & Updates

This is a challenging time for everyone, and the HSA is very much aware of the frustration amongst all Mt Hotham stakeholders.

Like everyone, we are waiting on the government through DHHS & DELWP, to finalise and approve the Ski Industry guidelines.

We continue to receive various material sourced by our members, including examples / templates of Covid Plans. We will make all member sourced material available for your review and use as you see fit.  We stress that the government guidelines are the final say in what you need to meet, and to develop your Covid plan to.

A Covid-19 Information tab has been added to this website, and includes both the official Government reference docs, and member contributions.  The contents may assist members with sample templates to construct their own Covid-19 safe working plans – but note that the final details will need to wait for the release of the Ski Industry specific guidelines.

The RMB’s, Australian Ski Area Association(ASSA) and Alpine Resort Industry Advisory Group(ARIAG) and your HSA are working closely with the Victorian Government (Dept of Environment, Land, Water & Planning; Dept of Health & Human Services) on steps that need to be in place for the resorts to be able to open from 22 June.
