With a CFA Property Advice Visit on November 22 2025.
The CFA are planning a ‘Get Ready for Summer’ day at Mt Hotham on the 22nd November 2025, where they come up to Mt Hotham and will be available to do Alpine Summer Property Advice Visit Service (PAVS). These PAVS are all about the risk of your property during a bushfire, with suggestions on how you can reduce that risk. This is a free service and will take approximately one hour as it is completed on-site at the property.
So if your lodge is planning a summer cleanup or work party, the CFA can happily fit you in, provided they have advance notice. In addition, the Commander – Alpine Mark Owens is always happy to come and speak about Fire Preparedness and/or the importance of Essential Safety Measures and compliance.
