Our objectives include:
– To actively engage in bringing the concerns and interests of our members to the attention of the appropriate bodies to ensure appreciation and resolution.
– To promote the interests of leaseholders and snow sport participants at Mt Hotham.
– To assist in the development of the Mt Hotham area as a tourist destination for all seasons.
– To encourage snow sports and the provision of snow sport facilities at Mt Hotham.
There are 2 categories of membership:
Self Service Membership (Managed via the HSA Website and fits majority of members)
– Organisation / Club
– Individuals / Families
– Trade or Service (Bronze) – limited advertising on HSA Website
Sponsorship (Managed manually by the HSA for a restricted number of sponsors – contact HSA enquiries)
– Silver – advertising on HSA Website
– Gold – advertising on HSA Website
– Platinum – advertising on HSA Website
– Membership subscription is for 12 months
– It is annually renewed automatically by default, member will receive membership upcoming renewal information by email prior to renewal
– Credit card details are stored with secure commercial 3rd party
Membership can be cancelled by member at anytime
Pro rata payment will not be refunded for cancelled memberships, exceptions may occur upon request

Can there be multiple members / people under memberships – yes:
There must be one designated primary (or parent) member
– This is the person that originates the organisation membership and pays the annual membership by their assigned credit card
– There is only membership paid per Primary member
– Child records do not incur any additional membership fees
There can be multiple secondary (or child) members
– The primary (parent) member can manage all of these secondary (child) members
Secondary users receive all communication from the HSA as per Primary members
The Username is a unique field that cannot be changed and remains with the user record over the full life of the membership
If you are setting a new membership with key roles such as President, Treasurer, Secretary
– Use a generic Username – i.e. Sunshine Club Treasurer
– Also use generic Emails, i.e. Club Sunshine Treasurer@live.com.au, rather than personal emails, this makes transferring to alternate people assuming the role much simpler
There are 2 methods:
– Preferred – The incumbent Primary (Parent) logs into the HSA website and needs to review and update email, name and credit card details. The new Primary (Parent) needs to be provided the existing password. They can reset as required
– The new Primary (Parent) is provided the member password, and performs the updates
